Artist's Description

Stromness, UK - September 15, 2011: Tourists look down into a stone age house, dating back over 5000 years, in the neolithic village of Skara Brae at the Bay of Skaill north of Stromness in the Orkney Islands. Beautifully preserved through having been buried in sand, the stone built houses, complete with stone beds and dressers still intact, were revealed when a storm battered Skaill Bay in 1850. Skara Brae is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
