Description
Groups of tourists outside the Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, including two women begging at the bottom of the cathedral steps. The cathedral is undergoing renovation work and is partly covered in scaffolding. Designed in 1894 by Mikhail Preobrazhensky to traditional Russian revival style, it was finished in 1900 and is named after Alexander Nevsky, who in 1242 won the Battle of the Ice on Lake Peipus.
