Description
Bogota, Colombia - July 01, 2016: Looking from Plaza Bolivar, in the Andean Capital city of Bogota, in Colombia, South America, to the Eastern side of the Square. In full view is the Catedral Primada, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Colombia. To the left of the image is the Casa del Florero and to the right, the Archbishop's chapel. and a section of his palace. The style of architecture is classical Spanish colonial. In the centre of the square is a statue of Simon Bolivar. In the far background in the haze of the overcast, cloudy sky, the Andes Mountains can be seen.; the peaks are obscured by clouds. People walk across the Square as they go about their daily work or explore the area. There are pigeons all over the square, and vendors sell grains to feed the pigeons. Photo shot in the afternoon sunlight, on a cloudy overcast day which works well to minimise harsh shadows; horizontal format. Copy space.
