Bruges, a Belgian city usually dubbed as Venice of the North thanks to its network of canals and nearly 100 bridges within the medieval town.This canal, Spinolarei, was once the heart of the foreign merchants' quarter. It leads back to Jan van Eyckplein - one of the prettiest squares in Bruges.
