Description
Belmont, North Carolina, USA - April 11, 2015: A fireman from Station 43 hangs an American Flag at a precession and parade to honor Vietnam Army Specialist, Bunyan Price Jr. was held on Main Street in Belmont, N.C. A horse-drawn, 1800s-vintage hearse wagon carriage carrying the remains of Price was escorted to Greenwood Cemetery where he was laid to rest next to his parents. On May 2, 1970, Price was a passenger with seven other Americans on a helicopter that had crossed into Cambodia and was hit by enemy fire. His remains were found in 2014 after Missing In Action (MIA) for 45 years. Price was buried with full military honors and received the Purple Heart for wounds received in the war.
